Foundation Theatres is passionate about supporting the next generation of theatre makers. Our Work Experience Program will provide opportunities to secondary school students to experience how live venues operate.

Our Work Experience Program

In 2026, Foundation Theatres will offer week-long work experience to six secondary students to visit our venues and learn from our experienced staff. The successful applicants will spend time onsite at the Capitol Theatre and Sydney Lyric. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, experiences, cultures and languages. If you love theatre and are ready to learn, this could be an experience you’ll never forget.
