Working closely with a small, dedicated group, we are looking for all-rounders who love customer service, learning new skills and working in a fast paced and exciting environment. Applicants should be articulate, have a love for customer service and a genuine interest in the theatre. Beyond that, we will teach you everything you need to know!
Your role will include elements such as assisting patrons enter, exit and move around the venue in a safe way, ticket interpretation and seating of patrons and always being a friendly face to ensure our patrons have an exceptional theatre experience. You will be required to undertake cleaning duties before, during and after performances and assisting with medical and emergency situations as required.
The ideal candidate will have an absolute client focus, cheerful disposition, great communication skills, a very high standard of personal grooming & appearance and willingness to comply with a grooming policy. You must feel comfortable to speak with crowds and perform crowd control duties and the ability to work in a dark theatre environment, in auditoriums with stairs typical of a large lyric-style theatre.
This is a casual position, and the hours are generally between 5:00pm – 11:00pm Tuesday – Sunday, with day shifts on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for people that can work at least four shifts a week to ensure that we have a small and dedicated team.
All applicants must hold or obtain an NSW RSA qualification.
